The Calumet Region Striders (CRS) are a local running club in Northwest Indiana whose prime objective is to promote and encourage recreational running, walking, and other endurance activities through the involvement of the community in physical fitness and sport.
CRS is proud to have the opportunity to work with Buckley Homestead for the first time ever in 2016 to organize this already established Buckley 5 Miler.

Buckley Homestead Living History Farm is a county park and historical museum located at 3606 Belshaw Road in Lowell, Indiana. The park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is owned an operated by the Lake County Parks Department.
The historic traditions, culture, and heritage of farming life during the 19th and early 20th centuries are re-created on this living history farm, where visitors learn about their local history or reminisce about their own childhood memories.
